CREATIVE DESIGN
The creative concept of Re-Health originates from the idea of symbiosis between body and environment. The landscape becomes an extension of treatment.
RESULT
The garden is organized into different experiential areas. A main path leads to interior courtyards and landscaped terraces, while more intimate zones provide spaces for rest and contemplation. In each area, an atmosphere of pause and lightness is perceptible. Shadows cast by delicate pergolas, reflections of water, and the texture of plants create a silent stage that enhances the sense of repose in every corner.
The vegetation, selected by La Menara’s landscape architects, consists of Mediterranean and tropical medium-sized species, capable of maintaining freshness and color throughout the year. Palms, jasmines, lavenders, and grasses generate a textured and aromatic landscape that envelops without overwhelming. The careful arrangement of each plant contributes to a controlled and serene environment, where nature accompanies without interrupting, creating an oasis of tranquility within the clinic.
Re-Health exemplifies landscaping in Marbella that interprets luxury through discretion. Its garden does not aim to dominate but to accompany—a space offering balance between mind and surroundings, inviting patients to reconnect with serenity through design and light.
Visitors enter a serene path, where the sound of the wind through the leaves replaces urban noise, and the view opens toward clear horizons, such as Sierra Blanca, fostering stillness and contemplation.
In a secluded setting away from the urban bustle of Marbella, surrounded by gentle hills and Mediterranean light, Re-Health is conceived as a contemporary sanctuary dedicated to well-being. La Menara’s project aims for the landscape to act as a therapeutic agent, creating an outdoor environment that supports health and serenity, allowing each visitor to experience a moment of calm through nature.
The main entrance anticipates the spirit of the complex: clean lines, warm materials, and restrained vegetation framing the building without overwhelming it. The Andalusian architecture of the clinic finds its balance in an organic garden, where each element—water, stone, foliage—has been placed intentionally to reinforce the sense of tranquility.
MATERIALS
The project is built on a foundation of natural and honest materials (lime, wood, and clay), chosen for their ability to convey calm and withstand the coastal climate.
The presence of water appears in shallow sheets and linear ponds that reflect light and the surrounding vegetation. These water mirrors serve as visual axes, adding freshness and a sense of purity. Warm and discreet lighting emphasizes the movement of foliage and extends outdoor life beyond sunset, maintaining the serene atmosphere of the space.
The project incorporates sustainable landscaping solutions: drip irrigation systems, natural drainage, native low-consumption species, and permeable pavements. Technical efficiency aligns with the clinic’s philosophy, where well-being and sustainability are part of the same experience of balance and calm.
The color palette—soft greens, beige, and off-whites—reinforces the identity of the place. There are no sharp contrasts or superfluous elements: only materials that breathe naturalness and coherence. Each texture is designed to convey visual silence and tranquility, essential qualities in a space dedicated to health and introspection.
CREATIVE DESIGN
The creative concept of Re-Health originates from the idea of symbiosis between body and environment. The landscape becomes an extension of treatment: a space that heals through visual harmony and connection with nature. From the first sketches, La Menara’s team sought for the garden to act as a mediator between Mediterranean-Andalusian architecture and the surrounding natural landscape, always guided by tranquility.
The geometric layout, inspired by principles of order and proportion, organizes the space without rigidity. Initial straight lines dissolve into gentle curves as the garden opens toward the exterior, mimicking the transition between control and freedom that characterizes well-being processes. Water and light become guiding threads of the experience: both lead the path and provide rhythm, calm, and rest.
Vegetation, treated as an architectural material, defines the human scale of the complex. Strategically placed shade trees offer visual refuge; aromatic plants and tactile textures stimulate the senses; fine-leaf ground covers provide continuity to the floor. This layered composition generates depth and movement, transforming the space with each change of light, always aiming to maintain a serene and relaxing environment.
The result is a garden experienced through the senses. It does not seek to impress but to balance and convey tranquility and repose. Each element—a stone, a reflection, a shadow—is designed to promote focus and rest. Re-Health represents the evolution of contemporary garden design on the Costa del Sol, an emotional landscape that combines technical precision, environmental respect, and quiet beauty.
